Finally opening some commission slots for 2014. Here's some shots of some recently finished helmet commissions!

So I'm finally able to put up some photos for you! This was a little delayed due to some very personal family issues that transpired this week. I was out of town until early Tuesday morning in which I came home to found out my mother was missing. We couldn't find her for two days and once we did she was in bad shape. This morning we had to put her into rehab so I apologize the delay until today. But all is well and I was able to gather some photos for you.

HELMET PROGRESS PHOTOS - basically these are shots of the casting process of the base of the helmet. There are also a couple of photos of some horn bases that attach the horns to the actual helmet, completely finished and out of the molds. Obviously these are pre-sanding and fresh out of the molds. Hopefully within the next week I can post some photos of finished helmets as well. I need to restock my paints but other than that, I have everything needed to complete the rest of the commissions! Sorry again for the slow updates, there have been some very controlling issues that have popped up this year so far and I'm doing my best to move around them! But all is well! Today is silicone, tomorrow is master mold and then once that's finished it's time for casting and assembling the helmets! Sanding takes up a lot of time but once that's finished I slap some paint on there, age it a little, and then we're set! I'll hopefully be able to start throwing some pictures up for ya'll next week. Sorry for all of the snags in the plans but now there's nothing that should slow me down anymore!

Production on these commissions hit a bit of a bump when my clay oven bit the dust! But it had been replaced today and I should be finished with this step within the next couple of days and then it's on to the silicone mold(which takes about a full day to add the layers and fully set) and then I should have some photos available for you guys who are waiting patiently(and I thank you so very much for that)! I wasn't prepared for the number of commissions that I got and this is the first round so I'm doing my best at keeping up with myself! Thank you for your patience and understanding!
